Formats, software, licensing and delivery: the practical details before you download.
Serum presets require Xfer Serum and the version specified on the product page. A Serum licence is not included. WAV samples work in DAWs that support WAV audio and do not require Serum. MIDI files need an instrument to turn the notes into sound.
Presets are synth sounds you load into Serum. Samples are audio files you arrange in your DAW. A full-pack option combines the formats listed on that product page. Check the selected option before adding it to your bag: MIDI and bonuses depend on the pack and format.
No. FUTURA is a Serum preset pack with MIDI and does not include a standalone WAV sample library. The free downloads listed here are Serum preset packs. For the other packs and bundles, check the format and sound list on the product page.
Yes. Product pages provide demos and sound previews. Listen for sounds that suit your track, then check whether your selected option contains the preset library, WAV samples or both. The free preset packs are another way to explore the catalog.
Modulab sounds are royalty-free for use in your own music, including commercial releases. The original pack files may not be redistributed, resold or shared as a sound library. See the Terms of Service and licensing FAQ for the terms that apply.
Pack purchases are one-time purchases. Files are delivered digitally through a download link provided with your order and delivery email. If a link is missing or expired, contact support with your order number and purchase email. See the Refund Policy for problems with orders or files.
