Check before you create.

Do I need Serum to use the samples?

No. WAV samples can be used independently of Serum in compatible audio software. Serum is required for the synthesizer presets.

Will the files work in my DAW?

For WAV and MIDI, check that your DAW can import those file types. For Serum presets, your DAW must also support the installed Serum plug-in format.

Do these packs include DAW projects?

No. MIDI files are not DAW projects. They contain editable notes and need a compatible instrument. Check the selected product and format for its included presets, audio samples and MIDI files.

Can I use Serum 1 and Serum 2 presets interchangeably?

Serum 2 supports Serum 1 presets. Serum 2's native presets cannot be opened in Serum 1. Use the file supplied for your version, and keep your plug-in updated. Replacing Serum 1 with Serum 2 in an existing DAW project is a separate step; it does not happen automatically.

Can I produce music with these sounds commercially?

The packs are supplied for royalty-free use in your original music, subject to their licence. The original pack files cannot be redistributed or resold as a sound library. Software licences are separate. See the download and licensing FAQ for more information.

What should I send if a file does not load?

Tell us the pack and selected format, the file type, your operating system, DAW and Serum version if relevant, plus the exact error message. Include your order number when asking about an existing download.
